A national nonprofit organization that connects music industry professionals and their families with mental health and wellness resources. Built for the music industry, by the music industry. Backline’s core mission has always been to meet the mental health needs of the music community prior to the point of crisis. Through our online resources, case management program, and support group offerings, music industry professionals can seek help in a variety of ways; anonymously online, by scheduling a personal phone call and assessment with our team, and by attending one of our virtual support groups.
Introducing the “Music and Mental Health” Docuseries, by Tina Rix and Thought Positive Media. Through these eight episodes, Austin-based artists and music industry professionals share their voices in a time when we need to hear them most.

Established in 1994, the Georgia Music Foundation has spent nearly three decades working with valued partners statewide to support programs that preserve the state’s music history, provide opportunities for students to participate in music education and promote Georgia’s music communities.
Songs For Kids
Foundation
Songs For Kids provides music mentorship and interactive programs for kids and young adults with illnesses, injuries, and disabilities. We focus on creative expression, encourage exploration in a safe space, and never lose sight of the fun.
Instruments 4 Kids
The Instruments 4 Kids (i4K) mission is to provide musical instruments and lessons to underprivileged/underserved children living in shelters around metro Atlanta for free.
Instruments 4 Kids, Inc. was founded by Rick Sanford and the talent team at A Blast Bands And DJs®/The Blast Band® as a way of giving back to the community it has so gratefully served for over 25 years.
Atlanta Drum Academy
Our programs empower communities of marginalized children by elevating emotional intelligence, challenging students’ capabilities, and building career pathways through innovative percussion.
Our impact provides financial scholarships for college, increases emotional wellness, and increases academic achievements in school. As we "pray and play," Mr. Rile's God-given talent brings rhythms of unity and elevates children's gifts.

Founded in 2015 as a response to an ongoing nationwide decline of funding and lack of prioritization for music education, our organization is diligently working to ensure access to music for the country’s at-risk youths.
We do this by forming critical partnerships with music teachers, public schools and organizations to reinforce our core belief that music matters!
